Project 1: Atlanta Union Mission's My Sister's House Homeless Shelter

Atlanta Union Mission's Howell Mill Road Campus, My Sister's House, is the Mission's full service center for women and children. The campus houses 136 women and children in nightly emergency shelter, and it also houses 128 women and children in the Mission's residential recovery program.

The Mission is to enable youth and their families to reach their highest potential by equipping them with the skills and resources they need to be successful educationally, socially and emotionally. They facilitate linkage between organizations and residents in the community to encourage students to perform up to their potential, to develop strong family standards; strengthening the relationship between parent and children, to develop a healthy, attractive looking community which will discourage crime, drug abuse and gang activities.
