I am Not Afraid
When I love,
I love freely,
when I feel,
I feel deeply;
when I give
I give completely.
I am not afraid
to explore anything,
to know anything,
to give anything.
Because you see
my friend, I never
believe my gifts
of word, thought or
deed to ever be wasted.
Living has taught me that acceptance or rejection is changed by tomorrow.
Yes, wisdom is heard when it is spoken.
I hear you and I
hear my heart, and
I connect in spite of being cautious;
not because I am a fool, but because my knowledge has become wisdom before my eyes, and I have the courage to move beyond fear and give that which lives inside of me...LOVE.

Making Love to the World
Something speaks
and it's bigger than my
birthplace, any heritage
I may claim...bigger than
the family name.
Bigger than my gender,
the knowledge in my
head...something within,
bigger than any book I've
read.
Bigger than my abode,
and the car I drive;
bigger than the passions,
that make me feel alive.
One day divinity touched
humanity, by sacred hands
crafted was I...and today,
there is a pricking at my
soul, a story within, screaming to be told.
Freely, I make love to the world; grace her with the wisdom once poured into me. I hear her desires to connect intimately.
My journey is no longer rehearsed, I have the courage to just live it first...and upon life's page,
I am fully exposed, passion expressed; layer by layer, by the world undressed.
I am fluorescent, my light flows from within.
Beauty, floats, flickers and unfurls...as I make love to the world.
